DANCE your way into the new year and raise money for a great cause at the same time.
People have got the chance to take advantage of a zumba fitness dance class taster session in Worcester.
The £4 cost of the class will be donated to St Richard’s Hospice which provides free specialist palliative care for patients living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, and also supports their families.
The session at Lyppard Grange Community Centre, Warndon Villages, has been organised by Sally Stokes from Persona-Fitness and her business partner Dave Hands. Ms Stokes, who chose to support the hospice after the charity helped care for her partner’s aunt two years ago, said: “The zumba programme is about expressing ourselves exactly as we are and loving every moment of what we do. It teaches us and our students how to let go.”
The taster class will take place between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday, January 9.
St Richard’s Hospice needs to raise £4.8million to continue its work and offer its services for free.
