CHILDREN have been enjoying tucking in at an extra large outdoor eating area at a Worcester school.
Thanks to a School Food Grant application, supported by Worcestershire County Council and Alliance in Partnership, the external caterers to Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College, pupils can now enjoy dining al fresco.
The new covered areas, which include picnic tables, cost £43,700, with £21,085 contributed by the college.
Over the past three years, extensive covered walkways have also been built at the Timberdine Avenue school.
