THE crowds turned out when horse showing legend Robert Oliver and his wife Claire brought a quartet of their top horses for a special event in Worcestershire.
The couple appeared at Equestrian and Country Leisure, the equestrian retailers based at Top Barn Farm Business Centre, Holt Heath, near Worcester.
The company supports the Olivers with horse rugs and riders’ clothing.
More than 750 equestrian enthusiasts gathered to see the stars, both equine and human, and pick up tips on horse care and preparing for shows and events.
John Siviter, who runs Equestrian and County Leisure, said: “There are no better people in the country to give advice on how to make a horse or pony look at its best than Robert and Claire. Robert even brought along a box of rosettes he had won to give away to the children, which I thought was a really nice touch.
“The day was a great success and we had a record takings in the shop.”
Robert Oliver, left, is seen with his champion heavyweight hunter Loughkeen Dancing Lord, while John Siviter holds the grey Another Man.
