WORKERS at a Worcester firm are taking up the challenge of rowing 10km for charity.
However, staff from Siemens in Bridgwater Road, near Warndon Villages, will not be heading to the river Severn to raise funds as they have a rowing machine in the office.
The Stroke Association has launched its third Stroke for Stroke campaign to raise awareness and to highlight the benefits of a healthy diet and regular exercise.
The campaign will run throughout this week and will challenge people to row 10km to raise vital funds.
It has teamed up with Nuffield Health to offer a free five-day pass to its fitness centres for everyone taking part and the Nuffield fitness centre in Perdiswell Park is participating. For details, visit strokeforstroke.co.uk.
