A busy foot and cycle bridge in Worcester has been re-opened following a safety inspection.
People were able to use the Sabrina bridge from this morning despite plans for the bridge to be closed today and tomorrow.
A Worcestershire County Council spokesman said a report on the routine inspection was not due for three weeks but the inspection had not thrown up any issues.
Engineers examined the lowest parts of the bridge, which links Grandstand with Hylton Road, this morning while the highest points were inspected yesterday.
