A LITTLE boy seriously injured when his father's car plunged into the river Avon has been released from hospital.
Ryan Grady, six, was initially in a critical condition at Birmingham Childrens' Hospital following the incident at Evesham on Thursday, but he recovered quickly enough to be discharged yesterday.
Gabby, his five-year-old sister, who was also in the car, died yesterday afternoon despite the continued efforts of medical teams at the same hospital.
A post mortem will be carried out on the girl on Wednesday, to find an exact cause of death.
The childrens' father, Christopher Grady, 41, appeared before Worcester magistrates on Saturday charged with two counts of attempted murder.
It is expected that one charge will be amended to murder.
