A RARE Land Rover, worth £10,000, has been stolen from a Worcester car park.
The metallic blue Land-Rover Defender 90 was taken from the city’s Pitchcroft car park between 7pm on Tuesday and 7am yesterday.
Owner Martin Grice, of Bath Road, Worcester, believes the custom vehicle was taken between 9.30pm and 10pm as a resident living nearby heard the vehicle’s distinctive engine noise at that time.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said the vehicle has five-spoke alloy wheels, a Scorpion Racing front-bumper, off-road sills and a black vertical exhaust system used for off-road ‘mud-plugging’ events, all of which make it even more distinctive.”
Anyone with information is urged to call police on 0300 3333000, quoting 66S/100310 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
