A WORCESTERSHIRE pub is to host a fundraising party for injured soldiers.

The Berkeley Arms at Spetchley, near Worcester, will hold the Help for Heroes event on Friday, March 26, raising money for the national charity that supports wounded servicemen and women and their families. There will be 1940s live music, a disco, a raffle, an auction and prizes for the best fancy dress. Tickets are £15 per person.

Help for Heroes was founded in October 2007 to help the wounded men and women returning from war in Afghanistan and Iraq.

In June the Berkeley Arms is hosting a summer ball to continue raising funds for the cause.
