A MAN has appeared in court charged in connection with a crash which killed a Worcester dentist.
John Bue’s motorbike was inolved in the fatal crash on the A4440 between Powick and Rushwick at 5pm on Wednesday, June 24, last year.
He was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital but pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The father-of-two, who lived in Stotfield Avenue, Warndon Villages, set up the NHS Green Dental Practice, in Gresham Road, Dines Green, in 2002.
His death left the whole community in shock.
Brett Cooksey, of St Paul Road, Hereford, appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court charged with causing death by careless driving.
The 29-year-old entered no plea and the case will be heard at Worcester Crown Court.
Cooksey was released on unconditional bail and will reappear before magistrates for a committal hearing on Monday, May 10.
