Taking place on Bank Holiday Monday (April 5), from 11am to 5pm, visitors will be able to enter Wonderland where they can meet Alice herself, as well as the frighteningly fierce Queen of Hearts and the clock-watching White Rabbit.
The Mad Hatter will also be hosting a tea party in the Castle Kitchen Café and lucky visitors may even be offered a jam tart or a sip of tea. Children can also get arty and try their hand at making a Heart Crown and a Cheshire Cat mask to take home.
Outside, visitors will be able to join Alice and the Queen for a game of croquet on the Castle lawn and the White Rabbit will be holding games, races and competitions with prizes for the winners.
Visitors can enjoy informative talks about the lives of Worcestershire's local dormice and younger visitors are bound to enjoy getting their face painted or visiting the storyteller, who will be reading chapters from Lewis Carroll's famous book.
A museum trail will help visitors to explore the museum, finding all of Alice's friends along the way while spotting some interesting and unusual objects.
From Tuesday, April 6, through to Friday, April 9, the Alice trail and children's craft activities (10.30am - 4.30pm) continue including both Alice and Easter themed craft activities each day. Admission charges apply plus £1 per day for the craft activities.
Admission charges are £4.50 adults, £2.25 children & concessions, £12 family ticket. For more information please call 01299 250416 or visit our website: worcestershire.gov.uk/museum.
