60s reunion invitation for Gibraltar veterans

VETERANS who served with the Worcestershire Regiment during the 1960s are invited to a reunion in Gibraltar.

About 30 members of the Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment Association (WFRA) will travel to the British overseas territory on Tuesday, April 27, for a week-long trip.

They are looking for anyone else stationed in Gibraltar with the regiment between 1965 and 1967.

Harold Massam, of the WFRA’s Worcester branch, is organising the trip.

He said: “It’s great that we have got 30 people signed up for the reunion already but it would be better if even more people could get involved.”
