REHEARSALS for The Courtyard's forthcoming production of The Borrowers are well underway.
The four professional actors taking the famous roles of Pod, Homily, Arrietty and The Boy have all been picked for their talent and striking similarity in looks to create a realistic family of Borrowers.
The Courtyard welcomes Alicia Devine as Homily, Hereford actor Richard Curnow as Pod, Stacey Sampson as Arrietty and Thomas Willshire, who recently finished drama school, as The Boy.
The cast was first whisked off to a recording studio to record various sound effects that will help to create the mystical world beyond the grate. The actors have had an intensive rehearsal period prior to the opening on Tuesday, June 21.
Local director Janine Sharp said she was very much looking forward to creating this magical story on stage.
