THERE'S a musical theme to the variety of entertainment on offer at The Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham next week - dance spectaculars, Abba and the Stones.

Direct from Cuba, Lady Salsa runs until Saturday, then on Tuesday, Phoenix Dance Theatre brings a triple bill of dance theatre and contemporary dance works, with a free post-show talk for interested dance fans.

Forest, by the godfather of British modern dance, Robert Cohan, is inspired by Native American healing dances. Eng-er-land mixes live performance and film to take us through the madness of a Saturday night in an English town. See Blue Through is inspired by the mysteries of underwater life.

From June 8 to 10, it's party time, with top tribute band Abba Mania, and on Saturday, June 11, there's a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the Rolling Stones, The Counterfeit Stones, who are rock 'n' rolling their way through their much-acclaimed Bourbon Jungle tour.
