A MUSICIAN being promoted as one of folk music's finest performers is playing at Stourport Riverside Folk and Acoustic Club tomorrow.
Bob Fox began his career 30 years ago, playing around the many folk clubs in the north east of England and is now regarded as one of the most respected performers on the English folk scene.
He is the latest in a long line of major artists to take to the stage at Stourport Boat Club, with previous performers including Jez Lowe and The Bad Pennies, Steve Tilston and Martin Carthy.
Forthcoming gigs include The Ridge Top Mountain Boys on June 10, Roy Bailey and John Kirkpatrick on July 8 and Sons of Erris a week later.
Open mic sessions are held every other Thursday, June 2, 16 and 30, starting at 8pm.
More information on the club and its sister club, The Riverside R'n' B Club, is available at www.riversideclub.co.uk.
