THE second exhibition at Galanthus gallery in Wormbridge opens tomorrow (Friday) to coincide with this year's Guardian Hay Festival.
The new show includes oils by Alan Harrold, felt work by Harriet Hill and ceramics by Justine Allison.
Young Scots painter Alan, a tutor at Herefordshire College of Art and Design, has been generating a buzz with his bold, exciting portraits and figurative works - often depicting students.
He held his first solo exhibition in Aberdeen last autumn and followed it with a second at the Courtyard in January. This show includes several new works.
Harriet Hill works with felt to produce decorative and functional art.
In both her tubular pieces and her wall hangings she has developed the amoebic forms seen in early work into single, rhythmic shapes.
Harriet has exhibited widely and has just been accepted to exhibit at Chelsea Crafts Fair this autumn.
Justine makes delicate, almost translucent porcelain vessels, incorporating pattern and texture as well as glaze and coloured porcelain.
She has exhibited at the East London Design Show, the International Symposium of Art and Craft in Krakow and the Inter Celtic Festival in Lorient and won as award for innovative design at Ceramica Cymru in Llandeilo, Wales.
The exhibition runs to June 28.
