POLICE officers keeping a different beat are coming to Broadway for a special concert.

The Gloucestershire Male Voice Choir was formed in 1970 and consists of serving and retired members of the police force as well as other guests who are linked with the service.

The choir raises money for charity and has toured the USA, Germany, Jersey, and all over Britain.

The choir's musical director is George Taylor, Associate of Trinity College, London, and director of music for the Cotswold Singers. The accompanist is Diane Martin who is an Associate of the London College of Music.

The Broadway concert takes place on Friday, July 8, at 7.30pm, at St Michael and All Angels' Church. Tickets are £6 (£5 concessions) and are available from ShopWright (Broadway Post Office).
