HEREFORD Concert Society presents City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra players 'on tour' tonight (Thursday) at the Courtyard.
The Berkley Salon Ensemble comprises members of the CBSO who play a range of traditional jazz and classical music.
Their programme includes Zez Confrey's Dizzy Fingers, Niels Wilhelm Gade's Jealousy Tango, Legge Bucalossi's Grasshopper's Dance and Tchaikovsky's Chant sans Paroles.
Formed in 2000 by CBSO trombonist and former Palm Court Theatre Orchestra member Alwyn Green, the ensemble has fast gained a reputation for playing forgotten gems of a more leisured age.
Book for the last concert in the society's season on 0870 1122330.
