DAVID HUGHES: The funeral took place at Redditch Crematorium of Mr David Hughes, who with his late wife Zena was a long-time resident of Marlcliff. Born in Upton Worrel, he lived in Feckenham and Inkberrow and at Hedgeoake Lane in Cookhill. While at Marcliff he worked at the old telephone exchange at Evesham. In later years he moved to Studley. He is survived by his two daughters Yvonne and Susan.
