MUSIC from the Drifters see us out of April and Ralph McTell sees us into May at Huntingdon Hall in Worcester.

Tomorrow night at the hall, there is The Story of the Drifters, a show which tells the tale of the famous gospel style soul band, and then the renowned singer/songwriter Ralph McTell is taking the stage on Thursday, May 5.

'Ralph McTell, Storyteller and Orchestra in Six Strings' is the latest tour of the great poet songwriter, best known for his 1974 award-winning song Streets of London.

Curtis Fulcher, Huntingdon arts spokesman, said: "Ralph McTell is a teller of tales, a modern troubador and ranconteur who invites you into a unique world and weaves a narrative both significant and poignant. He is a prolific and gifted songwriter and a virtuoso guitar player who explores the apparently simple elements of life."

Huntingdon Hall music for the rest of the month includes the usual mix of styles and tastes and big names Worcester has come to expect.
