A HOST of tribute acts hoping to make it on to the books of Kidderminster-based entertainment agency, Upfront, are set to perform in the town to raise cash for a charity helping young homeless people.

Gloucester-based Roxy Music tribute act, Roxy Magic and Elvis sound-a-like, Mark Tipton, are among the artists lined up to perform in the Upfront Showcase at the Gainsborough House Hotel on Bewdley Hill.

Macca and Ringo look-a-likes, Neil T and Max Frudd, are also set to perform at the event on Thursday, May 5, as well as a Birmingham-based tribute to the Four Tops, Temptations and Drifters.

The proceeds of the evening, which will be compared by comedian, J P James, will go to St Basil's, which works with young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
