AN exhibition featuring two artists opens at Hereford Museum and Art Gallery on Saturday.

The weather and the sea features work by Tony Chance and Betty Clarke - Worcestershire artists linked by their love of creating images from the changing face of sea and coastline.

Tony has been painting and drawing professionally for more than 20 years and has illustrated many books.

He has become known for his work on Hollywood feature films including Mission Impossible, 102 Dalmations and American Beauty, and has recently directed his first film, Just the Ticket.

Tony has always been interested in telling stories with pictures, and likes the challenge of trying to capture motion in two dimensions.

Betty's ceramics are mainly decorative one-off pieces.

The source of inspiration for much of her decorative work comes from her 15-year stay in East and Central Africa, as well as close-up photographs of rocks and seashores.

She enjoys experimenting to achieve different effects with a limited range of materials.

The exhibition continues until June 12.
