INTEREST AND LEISURE CLUB: For the outing to Ross-on-Wye, the weather turned out to be wet, unusually for a club outing.
The coach first stopped at Ross Labels factory outlet on the outskirts of the town where members had refreshments and then were able to look around the complex.
After returning to the coach the rain increased and a walk around Ross was ruled out. Next stop was Coleford in the Forest of Dean where Angela found a caf called Chatterbox who at a moments notice undertook to give lunch to practically the entire complement of the coach.
The journey home was through villages in the Forest of Dean, some with unusual names.
Mrs Mavis McLoughlin thanked Alan and Angela.
