FIFA 2004 is the finest Fifa game to grace games consoles ever since ISS bettered it back in the days of the PSONE.

Now gamers can play as football teams from any division so this means that, you too, can control the Kidderminster Harriers in season mode.

Season mode is quite demanding especially if you pick a team in Division 3.

The season spans over five years with aims each year and the ability to transfer players in and out, compete in league and cup competitions, and inevitably players can pick up injuries and suspensions.

Graphically Fifa is superb with close attention to detail on all the well known stars, although sadly the same cannot be said for those in the lower divisions. The last time I looked Bo Henriksen did not have short brown hair!

Of course Fifa would not be Fifa without being able to take a shot from 30 yards and smile as it curls into the top corner of the net.

Likewise the movement is all very smooth and realistic with off the ball control allowing the gamer to control both the player with the ball and other players around the pitch for perfect set pieces!

Overall this is a valiant effort from EA and one that will give Pro Evolution Soccer a run for its money.
