AS a regular visitor to Evesham, and now a resident, I have long admired the view from the top of Abbey Park, from the Bell Tower down the long green slope to the river.
This week I was greatly saddened to see that an unsightly multi-coloured concrete playground has been built right in the middle of this beautiful view. Can someone please tell me why it was necessary to build yet another playground when there are already two close by, and in a beauty spot?
