SUMMER holiday activities, including music and craft workshops, have been planned for children at Stourport Library.

Melody Monkey workshops will be held for under fives in the children's library from 11am until 11.30am on Friday and Tuesday, August 9.

They will introduce young children to music through the hands-on use of puppets, instruments and stories. Places are limited to 10 children, who must be accompanied by an adult, and pre-booking is advisable.

Next Thursday, there will be a craft workshop for six to 11-year-olds between 2pm and 3pm where children will be able to try glass painting, designing and producing their own garden lantern.

There will be chance to walk the plank at a pirate drama workshop for six to 11-year-olds on Wednesday, August 10. The activity runs from 11am until noon and there is a fee.

A Harry Potter show by Magic Bob will take place on Tuesday, August 16 from 2pm until 2.45pm for children aged four and over.
