CHILDREN visiting Witley Court this summer will be able to see the historic property through the eyes of a Victorian child.

The popular tourist attraction, which was once one of England's great Victorian country houses, has introduced new educational tools to help young visitors make the most of their day out.

A specially written historic story about the English Heritage property, featuring people who might have lived and worked there, is included in the boxes.

Families will also find pictures and replica objects mentioned in the story to help bring it to life and the packs are available in two age-related versions.

History Hunter backpacks have been developed by the education team and include a range of activities to keep young visitors interested in the historic house and gardens.

There will also be Step Inside sheets available for children to fill in during their day out.
