THE new term for Pershore Choral starts this Monday at 7.30pm in Abbey Park Middle School, as usual under the entertaining direction of conductor Andrew Wilson.
New members are warmly welcomed to the choir which has now been going for 56 years. If you are interested you can contact the membership secretary, John Gosney on 01386 553292 or just turn up on the night. Current subscriptions are free up to the age of 25, £25 between 25 to 35, and £50 for those over 35.
This year's programme includes Handel's St. Cecilia Ode and the Dettingen Te Deum which will be performed on Saturday, November 26, the ever popular Christmas Concert is on December 17 and the Spring Concert on Saturday May 20, 2006 is Mendelssohn's Elijah.
