PERSUASION is Jane Austen's last completed novel and next week, the famous tale of love and marriage is on stage to entertain Cotswold audie-nces in Chipping Norton.
The Phoenix Theatre Company is bringing its interpretation of the story to The Theatre on Wednesday, September 7.
It tells the story of a reunion between Ann Elliott and Captain Wentworth which forces them to look again at the false values which drove them apart years earlier.
And it comes with 'the irony, insight and withering satire that sets Austen's writing apart'.
Tickets are £10 or £8 and schoolchildren pay £5.
