ANY singers wanting to add their voices to a rehearsal and performance of Handel's Messiah at Kidderminster Town Hall later this month are being given the opportunity.
The Kidderminster Choral Society - KCS - rehearsal takes place at 2pm, while the public performance begins at 7.30pm.
As well as the combined choirs, members of the Elgar Sinfonia will be taking part, together with four young soloists.
They are local tenor, Russell Painter, soprano, Elizabeth Atkinson, contralto, Miranda Westcott and bass, Christopher Cox. The conductor will be the society's musical director, Geoffrey Weaver.
Singers who want to take part in the singing day can contact KCS secretary, Jane Johns, on 01562 700802. There is a cost for taking part.
Tickets for the performance are available from Bob Powell on 01562 60112, from Kidderminster Town Hall, Kidderminster Library council shop or at the door on the night.
