A FAMILY show in the afternoon and an adult winefest in the evening is in store for Saturday theatregoers in Chipping Norton.

Fairly Tales is on at 2.30pm and described as 'Whose Line is it Anyway meets Jackanory'.

The improvised show by The Black Sheep and James Seabright starts with words from the audience which become the staring point for 'stories never told before or since'.

Press officer Rebecca de la Bedoyere: "Whether making up poems, acting out adventures, creating puppets out of jumble or just spinning a yarn, these frantic storytellers will keep you amused and entertained from Once Upon a Time to Happily Ever After."

The show is aimed at children aged six and over, as well as the rest of the family, promised plenty of laughs, too.

At 8pm, also this Saturday, the same company brings a show limited to over 16s 'due to wine sampling and brief male nudity, all in the best possible taste!'

The Joy of Wine takes the audience on an hour-long adventure of character comedy with the Rev Andrew Jones who is on a mission to convert lager-swillers to 'the drink of kings (and tramps!)'.

Assisted by idiot-savant wine taster Ciaran Murtagh, the Reverend aims to change the way you feel about wine forever.

Directed by Cal McCrystal, who has worked on The Mighty Boosh, Spymonkey, Cirque du Soliel and Peepolykus, 'this show is guaranteed to leave you wanting a drink,' say promoters.
