CORNISH band Three Daft Monkeys should get the audience dancing in The Pheasant, Welland, on Wednesday, September 14.
The band has a good following and has appeared at numerous festivals this summer, including Glastonbury and the Big Green Gathering.
Organiser Alan Turnball said: "Along with fusion of many musical styles, they generate
a driving rhythm and respond enthusiastically to a live audience."
He said the Three Daft Monkeys would have the audience up and dancing as they were certainly not a band to sit and listen to.
Supporting act Bottlebag, from Gloucester, is another unique band new to the music scene.
They were last seen in Malvern at the Floating Lotus summer gathering, where they performed with Here and Now, Global and Blurt.
"Together, these two bands will cook up an entertaining and very lively midweek event for those accustomed to the relative rurality of Welland," said Dr Turnball.
Music begins at 8pm. Entry on the door is £5.
