WORLD-famous classical guitarist John Williams is coming to Huntingdon Hall as the guest of Worcester Concert Club.

Tickets (£22.50) for the concert on Sunday, November 13, are already selling fast. Other highlights from the club's new season include Zephyr Winds and pianist Ian Buckle on September 25 and Malvern's Eleanor Percy (piano) and Irina Lyakhovsky (violin) on November 6.

On January 26, tenor James Oxley and pianist Caroline Dowdle will perform Schubert's Die Schone Mullerin.

December 4 sees the first of the season's Connections double treats, when pianist Howard Lee Sloane will play the music of Fats Waller and others, before a baroque concert by Florigelium.

On February 26, Worcestershire Youth Jazz Band will play a big-band set, followed by a recital by pianist Peter Bradley Fulgoni, including Beethoven, Liszt and others.

On Sunday, March 26, former Swingle Singer Wendy Nieper and pianist Stephen Watkins will perform a selection of songs, before a concert by string quartet Quatuor Parisii.
