AN appeal has gone out for a conductor and an accompanist for singers from Tewkesbury.
A group of enthusiasts from Tewkesbury Choral Society have formed to sing a wide repertoire and undertake occasional engagements locally.
The group rehearses weekly on Monday evenings from May to September and about twice a month on different days during the rest of the year.
"We urgently need a conductor with experience of conducting and choir work and an accompanist.
"An ability to play the organ would be helpful," said Michael Wintersgill.
Anyone interested in working with the group for a small honorarium but mainly for the pleasure of making music together would be invited for a trial period initially.
