WEDNESDAY CLUB: Members met on November 2 when Mrs M Boath presided. Birthday cards were distributed. The evening drive was enjoyed by all with a lovely supper at Three Horseshoes, Wixford. The Christmas shopping trip to Cribbs Causeway takes place on Tuesday, November 22, when coach leaves village hall at 9am.
The annual bring-and-buy sale was held with good provided by the members. Donations were received from Mrs Bowen and Mr and Mrs Billingham who were unable to attend. Cakes for tea were given by Mr A Sadler, Mr D Perry and Mrs Boath. Tea was served by Mrs Neal and helpers. A gift of tea was received from Mrs Pat Robinson.
