A TRIO of bands will be pulling out the stops in Worcester tonight as they take to the stage as part of an annual festive music festival.

Cape of Good Hope, the Buck Brothers and Worcester's very own And What Will Be Left of Them? are all playing Boozestock at the city's Marr's Bar in Pierpoint Street tonight.

The two day-event kicked off yesterday and saw Bewdley-based Great Eskimo Hoax, post-rock act Diego Garcia and Birmingham-based electro/indie four piece act Deluka.

The second leg of the festival takes a slightly poppier angle, with four-piece act Cape of Good Hope melding together synth, saxophone and an array of delightful guitar sounds.

They comprise Thomas Stead on guitars, Stu Newnham on guitars, vocals and synth, Howard Kenny on drums and vocals and Amy 'Wabs' Taylor on synths, vocals and saxphone.

London's Buck Brothers are no strangers to the Marr's Bar and play power punk-pop in their own individual style.

And wrapping up the festive extravaganza in style is Worcester's very own And What Will Be Left Of Them?

The band recently released a festive free download - Filthy Little Christmas - and have been busy playing a whole host of gigs this year.

Last month they headed out on the highway for a special weekend-long tour of service stations and the city gig is set to complete a year that has seen them tour both the UK and Europe.

Tickets for Boozestock are £4 on the door.
