RETRO film buffs are in for a treat as The Theatre in Chipping Norton will be screening all three films in Robert Zemeckis' classic 80s Back to the Future trilogy.

Audiences are encouraged to dress in 1980s or 1950s clothing, with a special prize going to the best dressed audience member.

Each of the films in this series was an instant hit, launching the career of Michael J Fox as Marty McFly, a teenager who travels back to the 1950s with his scientist friend Doc Brown. The time lines are crossed when he meets his parents as teenagers and he must put things right before he himself ceases to exist.

In the second part, Doc and Marty travel to the future to help Marty's children, before being whisked back to the Wild West of the 1880s in the final instalment.

The first film starts at 2pm on Sunday, January 29, with parts two and three following at 4.30pm and 7.30pm. Each film is certified PG and ideal for adults and children. Tickets cost £5 per film (under 16s £3) or £10 for all three (£6).
