COMEDIAN Jim Davidson will present his adult stand-up show Full On Live at the Glades Arena on Tuesday.

He recently received the Showbusiness Personality of the Year Award from the Variety Club of Great Britain, the Grand Order of Water Rats and Comic Heritage and in 2001 was awarded an OBE for his services to charity.

He had his first taste of entertaining at the age of 12 when he was chosen to appear in Ralph Reader's Gang Show at the Golders Green Hippodrome.

His theatre credits include hit West End shows Buddy, Great Balls of Fire and family pantomimes throughout the UK.

As well as stage work, he has starred in television sitcoms including Up the Elephant and Around The Castle and Home James.

He has presented popular television shows Big Break and The Generation Game as well as specials including one from HMS Invincible titled Homeward Bound for Christmas and in 2002 he filmed Jim Davidson Falklands Bound, which was screened during the 20th anniversary of the hostilities.

He made five visits to the Falkland Islands entertaining British service personnel. In 1999, he travelled twice to Macedonia to entertain the forces and he launched and became the chairman of the British Forces Foundation charity, which aims to promote the well-being of service personnel.

In 2004, he hosted the popular BBC One series Commercial Breakdown and his stand-up series Jim Davidson on The Road was recently screened.
