THIS winter's entertainment programme is sure to set temperatures soaring as some of the country's finest performers come to Cheltenham.

Amongst this season's stellar line-up are the world's biggest tribute act - The Bootleg Beatles, comedic star of The Sketch Show, Tim Vine, and folk's finest starlet, Cara Dillon.

This season's programme sees the Town Hall play host to some winter-warming comedy from rising stars of the British comedy circuit - Tim Vine, Omid Djalili, Lucy Porter and Jeremy Lion. What better way to start this fantastic line-up than a large serving of happiness courtesy of Lucy Porter? Tim Vine, 'The man with the golden pun', is set to light up the Cheltenham stage with the sound of laughter. Fresh from a starring role in ITV's The Sketch Show, Tim is back on tour by popular demand.

In this strictly adult only evening, Jeremy Lion and his pianist Leslie will take you on a magical journey of education and entertainment.

The comedy season's fantastic finale comes in the shape of Omid Djalili - the world's funniest Iranian stand-up.

For the more musically minded - this winter's line-up should not disappoint. From the show-stopping tunes featured in The Magic of the Musicals featuring the fabulous Wayne Sleep and Marti Webb, to the musical mastery of former Mike and the Mechanics frontman Paul Carrack, to the orchestral spectaculars of Johann Strauss Gala this season's programme promises something for every taste.

This winter also sees a focus on folk as Cheltenham hosts not only the fantastic annual Folk Festival but also an exciting concert by the sweetheart of the British Folk scene, Cara Dillon. Cara makes a welcome return to Cheltenham accompanied by her band. The orchestral series of classical music continues to go from strength to strength. Featuring a host of musical maestros including The BBC National Orchestra of Wales, The Orchestra of the Swan, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the Corelli Orchestra, this really is a sensational programme.

Fans of nostalgic rock and pop will not be disappointed by this season's selection of terrific tribute bands. The season kicks off with a bang as Rumours of Fleetwood Mac are set to deliver a non-stop barrage of hit songs spanning from Albatross to Go Your Own Way.

Get ready for the sounds of the 60s as the world's most successful tribute act descend on Cheltenham get ready to welcome The Bootleg Beatles. And for a bit of 70s style glam why not join Voulez Vous in Concert for the ultimate ABBA tribute act.
