THE Hop Pole is back to its best!

After some years in the Irish wilderness, The Hop Pole is back in private hands and offering a warm and welcoming return to the best of traditional hostelries.

"The Hop Pole has had a full refurbishment and in a clean, bright environment with comfy sofas, offers a warm, relaxed and friendly pub." enthuses Landlord, Daryl Norrish. "We offer great tasting, good quality, locally sourced, home cooked meals with traditional lunches, and midday and evening bar meals and snacks." and with 20 years in the pub trade in the South West, Daryl knows what he is talking about!

The well stocked bar now contains Wye Valley real ales, lots of beers, ciders and continental bottled beers, tasty soft drinks and a good range of quality wines.

All this is complemented by two Pool tables, and a big screen ready for the 6 Nations Rugby!

On Wednesday evenings, students are especially welcome to The Hop Pole in Hereford's Commercial Road, when live entertainment and bar and food promotions take centre stage.

Next Wednesday (the 8th) brings together all the best aspects of The Hop Pole when the LIVE 8 EXTRA CHARITY EVENING - in aid of the McMillan Nurses and St Michael's Hospice explodesthere.

"Come along and sample the warm welcome my excellent team and I offer, while you enjoy painlessly raising money for these two wonderful causes! We look forward to welcoming you to The Hop Pole.
