A BRAND new dance adaptation of Tim Burton's gothic fairytale Edward Scissor-hands opens at Birmingham Hippodrome on Tuesday, running until March 25.
The product of acclaimed choreographer Matthew Bourne and New Adventure, the show tells the tale of a boy created by an eccentric inventor who dies leaving him alone, with only scissors for hands.
The stage version of the well-known film promises to be a huge success and Matthew Bourne is the only British director to have won the Tony Award for Best Director and Best Choreographer of a Musical.
Tickets are £10-32.50 from the box office on 0870 730 1234 or www.birminghamhippodrome.com
