Monday, March 6: Launch of U3A exhibition at Evesham Library with photocall. Early evening meeting of Evesham TC Promotion Committee followed by the AGM of Evesham Twinning Association at Evesham Workingmens Club.

Tuesday, March 7: Attended Evesham Rotary Club meeting and lunch. Evening choir rehearsal of Arts Centre choir at Methodist Church.

Wednesday, March 8: Photocall at Evesham Methodist Church re 150th anniversary of Workman Bridge. In the evening chaired full Governors meeting of Evesham High School.

Thursday, March 9: Had our grandson for the day and attended a meeting of the Trustees of John Martin Charity in the evening.

Friday, March 10: Caught up with housework and paperwork!

Saturday, March 11: Opened new Jessop's camera shop in Bridge Street, then attended the coffee morning of Fair Trade at All Saints Church to promote Fair Trade fortnight, followed by a quick trip to visit our eldest daughter near Birmingham. In the evening visited Evesham Arts Centre for the Worcestershire Drama Festival and presented trophies.

Sunday, March 12: Joined other members of the Town Council, civic dignitaries and Evesham people at the Methodist Church for a Civic Service to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Workman Bridge, followed by a wreath laying ceremony at the base of a portrait of Henry Workman in the foyer of the church. A lovely way to close another busy week.
