GREEN-fingered gardeners looking for an unbeatable range of top quality plants are flocking to a plant centre with a difference in Evesham.
The Plant Centre @ Proculture is much more than an average garden centre because its unique range of new and more unusual plants, nurtured in its own two acre production nursery, vividly demonstrates.
Under the watchful eye of production manager Nick Millham, an impressive variety of top quality, big value plants are produced.
"This is something Nick excels at," said manager Peter Taylor. "He is particularly keen on using tender perennials for long lasting summer colour for pots and patio tubs."
The Plant Centre at Knowle Hill boasts that it can provide most plants for most gardens and stocks a wider range than many of their rival garden centres, as well as the tools, pots, composts and plant are products needed to maintain a garden. It is particularly strong on
hardy perennial border plants, trees, shrubs and climbing plants, and this year has seen an extension of the range of larger plants to that instant impact in the garden.
Dedicated helpful staff are always on hand to offer help and advice and answer customer queries, and the outdoor plant area supervisor, Rose, has an encyclopaedic knowledge of plants, their uses, likes, and dislikes. She is always keen to help. Large, easy-to-read information cards are displayed alongside most of the plants which can be particularly helpful to customers when deciding which ones to choose to fit their individual requirements. And there is always someone on hand to provide a carry-to-your-car service and offer some help with hard-tomanage items.
"Our customers appreciate this attention to detail and our focus on quality," added Mr Taylor. "They say these are the things that make shopping for the garden pleasurable and are what differentiate us from other nurseries and garden centres. That's why they keep coming back to us."
The importance of customers has been recognised with the recent launch of a customer loyalty card, providing even more savings for regular visitors. The cards are available by filling in an application form at the plant centre. So why not head over to The Plant Centre @ Proculture, open from 9am to 5pm, seven days a week, and get the information and assistance you need to make your own garden something special.
