URBAN music fans will be partying at Kidderminster Players Bar to celebrate the launch of a new album next week.
Twisted Melon Records' first compilation album, which followed a series of recording sessions with artists from across Worcestershire, hit the shelves in May.
The record label is inviting lovers of urban, hip-hop and drum and base to help mark its release at the venue in Green Street on Thursday, July 6.
One of the 15 Wyre Forest producers and promoters behind TMR is Marc Potter, aka Melo DJ of Stourport, who said: "All acts and DJs are local underground artists pushing things forward for the Worcestershire music scene."
There will be performances at the party by WhiteNoize, Roundhouse, UKC, Overflow, Weak 13, Lancett and Melo DJ, who all feature on the album.
Budding MCs can show off their talents with an open mic session and there will be DJ sets from J Fingerprints and DJ Dice as well as a guest appearance from Inscriptive Records.
The night will have a summer theme with free fruit and summer decor and everyone who turns up wearing fancy dress will receive a free gift.
Copies of the album can be bought from Mister Tee Records in Kidderminster and Mad Tatters in Stourport or ordered from www.twistedmelonrecords.co.uk
