Peach opened its specialist legal division almost a year ago and has been overwhelmed with its success.

The division has gone from strength to strength over the year responding to the high demand from local firms for qualified and experienced legal support staff in the West Midlands area.

The division is headed up by one of Peach's partners, Sarah Mayo-Evans. She is an REC qualified recruitment consultant and has six and a half years' experience in the industry. Her background is in customer service and administration and, along with a degree in law, she understands exactly what clients are looking for in suitable candidates and the extent of specific legal skills and qualifications required for legal work.

Sarah has found over the last year that the main requirement from clients is to supply temporary, contract and permanent paralegals, legal executives and, in particular, legal secretaries. She is concentrating in the main on supplying these career types to local practices. She has built up the Peach legal client base considerably over the last 12 months and is now dealing with over 50 firms in the West Midlands area.

Her plans for the next 12 months will involve even more expansion!

Nikki Powell, PA to the business director at Harrison Clark, says: "Since joining Harrison Clark and being responsible for HR administration, I have used Peach extensively for recruiting legal support staff, particularly temporary secretaries. I have always found everyone at Peach to be extremely helpful and professional - they take the time to listen and understand our needs, ensuring that the right candidate is put forward.

"For these reasons I will continue to use Peach and I would not hesitate to recommend them."
