HEREFORD people turned out in force to mark England's national day -- St George's Day. About 1,500 young people marched through the city centre for the annual parade to the Cathedral for a service and even the saint himself put in an appearance.
1. The pipe band makes its way to the Cathedral.

4. St George himself! Actually it's Christopher Mailey from Ross on Wye.

6. District Commissioner and event organiser for the last 12 years, Mrs Pat Rusher at the head of the parade.
7&8 Venture Scouts and Guides do their bit for England and St George.
