Rehearsals for Singin' the Rain are in full swing at the Courtyard in Hereford.
The all-singing, all-dancing autumn musical extravaganza opens on Thursday, August 31, and the cast, a mixture of professional and amateur actors, are preparing to take to the stage.
Amateur actress Asha Burrell, who will play the part of Kathy Selden, said: "I'm really excited. It's great to see all the different aspects of the production coming together as the days go by. The rehearsals are hard work but it will definitely be worth it and all the professional cast and crew have been so supportive."
It is also busy backstage with more than 155 square metres of timber, a water-trap that has the capacity to hold two-and-a-half thousand litres of water and a team of set builders out to impress audiences with their skills.
