COMEDIANS Jack Dee and Jo Brand could be coming back to Malvern if plans to give the Fringe a boost next year come to fruition.
The three-day festival in June proved so successful that organisers are planning to make next year's event bigger and better.
President Malcolm Victory said they were keen to get return visits from Dee and Brand, who performed here before they were famous.
The Fringe also wants soul legend Geno Washington and his Ram Jam Band to perform at the event, which will not only celebrate the 150th anniversary of Elgar's birth but also the 30th anniversary of the fringe.
He said: "It could be an amazing event if there's a will to do it. We're looking to expand, making it more vibrant and really putting it back on the map.''
Mr Victory said they hope to bid for funds of up to £25,000 for next year's event, which would be held over nine days at the end of May or beginning of June.
