IAN Waite, star of BBC television's hit show Strictly Come Dancing, will open Dormington Village Fete on Saturday, September 2, at 2pm.
The fete, at Dormington Court, will raise money for St Michael's Hospice and the Dormington Community Association Trust.
Mr Waite will invite members of the public to dance with him, for a small donation to the good causes.
Other attractions will include a novelty dog show, trailer rides, a hop yard tour, a chocolate fountain, cake and plant stalls and a pig roast. There will also be a bouncy castle and a treasure hunt, for children.
