THE Roger Dyson Group is the UK's leading independent manufacturer of custom-built recovery vehicles.

The company, which has more than 30 years of experience in specialist vehicle manufacture and its associated support services, is based at Berry Hill Industrial Estate, Droitwich, and employs more than 120 people.

Caroline Busby, of the Roger Dyson Group, said: "Our operation covers the design, manufacture, paint and assembly processes with products ranging from vehicle transporters, roadside rescue vehicles to heavy vehicle recovery equipment.

"We produce everything from a small single car carrier, a range of light and medium duty vehicles to Europe's largest five axle vehicle major incident recovery cranes with a capacity of 65 tonnes.

"The company produces an average of six units per week which will be a total of 300 during 2007."

Due to its ongoing expansion plans at Berry Hill - and the opening of its second site at North Bank - the group needs enthusiastic and committed people in a variety of different areas.

These include manufacturing and assembly, for which the company requires electricians, welders, fitters, painters and steel metal personnel. There are also positions available for managers and team leaders in these areas. The group is also recruiting a sales administrator and a meet and greet person.

Ms Busby added: "We are looking forward to visiting the Jobs & Careers Fair because we are a local company and want to recruit locally.

We have heard how successful it is and believe it is the right show case for us. We are particularly looking forward to opening our new showroom for trucks and accessories."
