THERE was a blast from the past when St Mary's Convent School, Worcester, held its annual prizegiving.
Old girl Lisa Essex, who went to St Mary's from 1981-88, was there to present the prizes.
After graduating from University College, London, Lisa won a scholarship to attend the prestigious Dartmouth College, USA.
She now works for Reuters in London. During the prizegiving ceremony, headmistress Susan Cookson took the opportunity to praise staff and pupils for another successful year of achievement.
